because of 是介词，常用的结构为「because of + 名词/ 代名词」。
I fell in love with her because of her kind nature.

instead / instead of
instead
instead是副词，有种「作为替代选择」的感觉。
我们可以把instead放在句子的开始或结尾处，不过在英文口语中，放在结尾比较常见。

instead of
instead of是介词，意思同样也是「替代」，不过用法却不相同。
