Diverting
This is a cognate from Latin languages that exists, but is very uncommon. In English it means something that “diverts” your attention and entertains you.
这是来自于拉丁语同源词，但在英语里面，它意味着某事分散了你的注意力让你愉悦。
I don’t think Breaking Bad is that funny, but it’s certainly diverting.
我不认为《毒命绝师》很好笑，但它确实是一部能让人感到快乐的片子。

Entertaining
Something you enjoy that makes you happy (not always funny).
某事让你很快乐（不是总是有趣）。
Cat videos on YouTube are entertaining: I could spend hours watching them!
油管上面的一个猫猫视频很好玩：我花了几个时间看他们。

Amusing
Another formal term for funny, similar to diverting or entertaining.
另外一种表达有趣的正式词语，同diverting的或entertaining相似。
Reading Calvin and Hobbes comics //www.58yuanyou.comis amusing.
看加尔文和霍布斯的戏剧很好玩。

Droll
Probably not something that would actually make you laugh, but that is funny from an intelligent standpoint.
某事可能不能让你笑，但是从其他的理解角度看会觉得很有趣。
British humor is rather droll even if a lot of Americans don’t understand it.
英式幽默很滑稽古怪，即使很多美国人没法理解。

Witty
Similar to droll, but more commonly used.
同droll类似，但是使用的更平常。
Telling witty jokes is really difficult.
开一些机智的玩笑是很难的。

Comical
A formal term describing something that has a funny nature.
描述某事很好笑。
Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare is very comical once you understand it.
威廉莎士比亚的《第十二夜》，一旦你读懂了就会觉得很好笑。

A hoot
Literally the sound an owl makes (think of someone laughing like this)
字面上的挺起来像是猫头鹰的叫声（想一下有人笑起来像这样）。
That joke that Josh told us yesterday was a hoot!
乔希昨天告诉我们的笑话很好笑。

A laugh
Similar to a hoot. Often used sarcastically.
同a hoot相似，经常用于讽刺。
Making me walk all the way to the market in the rain because you didn’t feel like driving was a laugh.

Similar to a hoot but it gives even more emphasis.

LOL (Laugh out loud)
Also: LMAO (laughing my ass off)/LMFAO (laughing my fucking ass off)/ROFL (rowww.58yuanyou.comlling on the floor laughing)/haha (how you write out the sound of a laugh).
LMAO/LMFAO/ROFL/haha的意思都是大声笑。
“Did you hear about the guy who lost the whole left side of his body in an accident? He’s all right now.” “Lol”
“你听说过有人小伙在车祸事故中失去了整个左边身体的？他现在好了。”“呵呵”

Goofy
often someone who is funny because of the foolish way in which they act.
某人经常很好笑因为他们的行为方式很愚昧。
Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg are so goofy in the Dick in a Box video.
贾斯廷和安迪在迪克视频里面很好笑。

The same as haha.
好好笑。
“In Spain I find that I drink more alcohol because wine is cheaper than water” “Haha, that’s rich!”

Priceless
When you see something that is so funny that you couldn’t set a price on seeing it.
你看到某事如此好笑以至于你没法用价格来评估。
Seeing George’s pants fall down during his speech was priceless! The whole audience couldn’t stop laughing.
在乔治演讲时，他的裤子掉下来，简直是笑死了。全场观众情不自禁的笑开了。

Make (someone) die of laughter
Something that makes you laugh so much that you think you’ll die
某事让你笑到都快觉得自己要死掉了。
I die of laughter whenever Homer does something stu原由网pid in the Simpsons!
无论什么时候看霍默在辛普森里面傻傻的样子我都快要笑岔气了。

Extremely funny.
极其好笑。
Barney from How I Met Your Mother is outrageous!
《老爸老妈的浪漫史》里面巴尼特别好笑。
