飓风和台风其实是同一种天气现象：热带气旋。
当热带气旋的最大持续风速达到每小时119公里，就形成了飓风或台风这类破坏力较大的气候现象。
The word people name it is depended upon where the storm originates in the world.
而用哪个词来命名它，取决于风暴形成于世界上哪块地区。
在北大西洋、北太平洋中部和北太平洋东部，（美国那边）使用“飓风”一词。而发源于西北太平洋（中、日、韩一带）的同类气象扰动则被称为“台风”。
