英语中，fall 和//www.58yuanyou.com drop 均有“掉落”的意思，他们的区别是：
fall 从高处坠落而下，是不及物动词；也可以做连系动词，意为“变得，进入某种状态”。
He fell offcgqPf the tree and hurt himself. 他从树上摔下来受伤了。
She skipped and fell to the ground. 她话了一跤，倒在地上。
He dropped in be原由网d and fell asleep. 他倒在床上//www.58yuanyou.com，睡着了。
drop 表示物体由高处落到低处，此时是不及物动词；让物体落向低处，是及物动词。如：
He didn't know if he would drop English. 他当时不知道是否该放弃英语。
He dropped the apple to the ground from the tree. 他从树上把苹果丢向地面。
He was so shocked that he dropped his fork. 他非常震惊，丢了手里的叉子。
