在备考过程中，你一定遇到用2分钟去描述一个Animal的话题。如果你不养宠物，现场即兴边想边讲，一定会败下阵来；而对于可能是宠物爱好者的你来说，在历年考试中也早就把Pet给排除在话题之外。这一次，我来教你如何去轻松应对Wild Animal的2分钟口语描述。
去描述一个动物，你无需把它拟人化，不要让自己的描述变得过于“散文化”。你也不应该去查找太多的专有名词，堆积在一起，拼凑成很多长难句。要知道，如果你在口语的描述内容里，竟然讲出了熊猫和xx是近亲，或者穿山甲的鼻孔是什么构造，那么我相信，考官一定能识别出你的2分钟描述内容被“过分渲染，过多准备”。请记住：一个被考官发现的被你准备过的话题，得分会很低。
这里，我给大家一些简单的回答结构和思路（cTyHkG关键词）。
首先，请先简单介绍一下你描述的这个Wild Animal的背景，也就是，你用WH词来造句。
问自己：
1，你描述的动物是什么名字，或有没有形容词来描述它？
2，它是在哪里被发www.58yuanyou.com现的，或哪里生存？
3，它是什么时候开始被发现的，或什么时候受到关注的？
4，谁对它感兴趣，或谁发现了它？
请注意，完成上述的4个自问自答，你就可以完成大多数口语卡片中列举出的问题。此外，我的建议是，上述的4个问题，你可以自由组合，也可以打乱顺序。
下面是重点，请仔细阅读。
5，请给出自己的“第一次”经历，包括：何时，何地，与谁，为何，何种方式 + 一个动词（知道，了解，看到）+ 你描述的动物。
聪明的你会发现，上面的这句话，可长可短，可用来扩原由网充内容，也可以撑一定的时间。关键是，一切由你掌控。如此，你完成上述内容的中文自问自答（1-5），其实只需短短1分钟。而在实际用英文来回答操作的时候，则请你把上述内容的英文版本，自如控制在45秒左右。
其次，我要带你进入细节描述。在这个部分，你可以说一下这个Wild Animal的一些特色，属性，闪光点（独有的特征），以及和你的故事。
同样，上述内容，你可以自由组合相关内容，可以有详略，甚至可以把你不擅长的属性等内容，去除掉。
我的意思是，你如果真的很好的利用了Wikipedia中的文本，那么，说不定你选择的个别英文句子或词汇，就会让你2分钟的回答文本变得不统一。往往，一些很精确也很有趣的措词或内容，反而是你明确告诉考官，这不是你自己“即兴”用语言能力口语阐述的。那么，你的操作，又回到了开头我提到的扣分点。

Describe a Wild Animal (The Elephant)
I.WH
1.WHAT: I want to describe the elephant for you. And you know, it’s one of the most famous animals in the world. Later, I will describe it here in detail.
2.WHEN: According to the findings, this wild animal was first recorded by human beings through cave paintings. It has been reporte//www.58yuanyou.comd for thousands of years in mankind history.
3.WHERE: Over the years, it has been found in most of the continents around the world.
4.WHO: There’re many people (scientists, biologists, archaeologists, paleontologists) who love to do some researches into the life of the elephant.
5.I first knew elephant in my childhood when my father bought me a toy of elephant. That gave me a good memory.
II.HOW
1.ABOUT IT: It’s very large in size, larger than most of the land animals. And also, I want to tell you that its voice is so loud that it can be heard miles away. Oh, also, I want to let you know that the elephant is easily recognized for its elongated teeth which are known as ivory.
2.HOW IT SURVIVES:The elephant is believed to eat fruits and vegetables. Unlike other mammals that need hibernation, the wild animal I’m describing here never needs to migrate for food storages in winter. It means that the elephant never feels so much worried about the low temperature in cold environment.
3.FUNCTIONS:Also, in my short deion, I may say that, because of the precious value of its ivory, the elephant has long been hunted or killed by human beings. The latest survey suggests that most of the elephants that once lived in the wild environment have nearly died out.
4.IMAGES OF IT IN DIFFERENT CULTURES:In my country, the elephant is thought to be very hard-working. Thus, in some children’s book, this wild animal is usually portrayed as a find example to teach children to study harder. However, in some African countries, the elephant is viewed as an evil thing because of the damage it causes to the crops and fields.
5.STORY WITH ME:As I’ve told you earlier, I got a toy elephant from my father as a birthday gift. Years later, I got a chance of taking a picture with the elephant in a nearby wild animal zoo.
