《英语短剧让课堂“活”起来》

古人说：“教人未见其趣，必不乐学。”因此，只有当学生对所学内容产生兴趣，才能乐意去学，才能去积极思考，才能在轻松愉快的环境中不断成长。英语短剧表演易于激发学生的外语学习兴趣，才能让课堂“活”起来。
一、何为“英语短剧”？
英语短剧是戏剧的一种，本质上为独幕剧，是对某些对话、短文、小说、故事、寓言、新闻甚至电视、电影等进行改编，在课堂上用表演的形式展示出来。尽管为独幕剧，却“五脏俱全”。每个英语短剧基本都具备戏剧的基本元素：人物（character）、背景（setting）、情节(plot)及高潮(climax）。这些都在人物简短精彩的对话中铺开，同时，在对话过程中，人物的性格渐渐展露出来。英语短剧的台词通常以口语为主，既便于对语言的理解记忆，又满足了人际交往的需要。学生会根据实际情况，在班级布景，自制道具及服装。
二、英语短剧表演的教学实践
英语短剧表演的教学实践由五个部分构成，即布置任务、准备阶段、随堂表演、及时评价、即时讲解。
布置任务：各小组至少提前两个星期选择并决定所演剧本。目前，大部分小组都在教师提供的剧本中进行选择，个别小组对名著二次创作和改编。确定剧本后，教师会根据剧本的难度以及学生现有的水平，鼓励学生对剧本进行适当改编和再创作。以小组形式进行保证了全体学生参与到排演练习中，这样，每个孩子都有锻炼和展示自我的机会。此外，在学生表演之前要与学生说明英语短剧表演的评分标准，学生明确评分标准后，让学生无论是作为演员展示还是观众评价都有了方向。具体评分标准如下：满分为5分，其中，语音、语调2分；流利度1分；表演技巧1分，场景布置及服装道具1分。
准备阶段：每组由组员选出一名组长，组长即“导演”，负责本组的角色分配和安排排演时间等。全体成员群策群力，共同策划如何布景，如何入场、退场；共同熟悉研究剧本，体验角色情感；共同准备服装道具。这一过程，教师不宜参与过多，让学生充分发挥想象力和创造力。但教师一定要对学生改编的剧本把关，确保语言表达的准确性。一遍又一遍的排演让学生的语音、语调不断得到淬炼；一遍又一遍的排演让学生将学过的词汇和表达运用娴熟；一遍又一遍的排演让学生接触到新的地道的表达并在情境中不断体会。
随堂表演：英语短剧表演一般在10分钟左右，教师和其他小组只有在这个阶段才能看到学生完整的表演，学生们的表演欲望和创造力无限，演到精彩处，无不拍手叫好。在“Empty Town Facing Raid”（《空城计》）的演出中，学生在黑板上画出城墙和旗帜作为布景，反穿校服摆出宽衣大袖的袍服，现学现卖的古筝也演绎的煞有架势，班级的扫帚和部分他组成员的友情出演都成为表演不可缺少的一部分。
及时评价：学生表演结束后，教师引导学生根据评价标准对“演员们”的表演进行评价并提出建议，培养学生的参与和鉴赏意识。学生评价后，教师进行评价，评价语言要热情，肯www.58yuanyou.com定孩子们表现突出的地方，对学生不足的地方加以指导。及时评价一利于孩子们发现问题，及时改正，不断提高；二利于激发孩子们的表演和学习兴趣。
即时讲解：评价后，教师引导学生对演出内容进行回顾，指出并拓展一些重要或新的英语表达，在这个过程中，通过教师对剧本的转述，学生在情景中体会词、短语等的用法会更加深刻、形象。在“Controversial Good Manners”中，有一场景为在商场买拖鞋（slippers)，由此将不同种类的鞋配上图片教给学生，学生学得津津有味。
尽管还存在一些问题，但孩子们的成长是喜人的。总体说来，英语短剧表演能营造出轻松愉快的课堂氛围，能充分调动学生课内外学习英语的积极性和主动性，能加强学生对中西方文化的了解，能提高学生的英语表达能力。学生在表演过程中体会到的成就感和自信心极大地激发了学生学习英语的兴趣，这样才是孩子们喜爱的充满活力的课堂吧
