大家是不是自然就会用到eat和 drink
但在英语中有时候并不会这么一一对应
直译成英语是不对的
比如说“喝汤”这个短语
能翻译成“drink soup”吗?
回答肯定是“No”
喝汤不是“drink soup”而是“eat soup”
因为文化的不同，英文中的soup和中文的“汤”是有细微区别的。比如西餐中的汤，一般都很稠，有奶油、肉、蔬菜等，要用勺子送到嘴里吃。所以在英文中，饮用盛在碗里的汤，要用动词 eat。
例：
It is polite to eat soup with a s//www.58yuanyou.compoon and not make any noise.
喝汤时要用勺子舀着喝，也不能发出声音，这是礼貌。
“吃药”不是eat medicine！

你绝对不能eat你的药，而是应该用take。
The reason that it will always be takeand never eat, is because Preionis derived from the Latin word recipe (r-k-peh), which roughly means take this. 而吃只是意味着把食物放进嘴里，咀嚼，然后吞咽的过程。
正确的说法应该是：
①take/have www.58yuanyou.comsome medicine
medicine经常与some或sb's搭配
②take ... pills
pill可指药丸
如果想表达具体一点，
比如「吃几片药丸」，
可以说
take 1-2 pills daily
每天1到2片(药丸)
take 3 pills twice a day
每次3片(药丸)，每天2次
例：
Her doctor says she原由网 www.58yuanyou.comhas to rest and take medicine twice a day.
医生说她必须休息，并且每天要吃两次药。
