今天有个同学问Simon一个问TLIvdI题，如何区分in case， in case of，以及in the case of
在雅思写作中，经常会用到一个词 case
case这个词，说难不难，不简单其实也不简单
case本身就两种词性，第一：n 情况，示例；第二：v 游荡，活泼，跳爵士舞
但是在平时写作和阅读中case最常用的就是名词形式，因为名词形式可以引发出3中不同的词组表达：
1. in case
2. in case of
3. in the case of
这三个词组表达在写作中如果能用好都是特别高分的表达形式，但是这三个词组的意思截然不同。我们一个个来分析一下
in case 表示的是“以防万一，提前作准备”
注意咯：in case 是连词短语，所谓连词短语，就是后面可以跟着完整的句子，比如and，because 这些都是连词，后面可以跟着句子。
栗子：Take an umbrella with you in case it rains （原由网带上伞，以防下雨）
放到雅思写作级别的句子可以是：
Our go原由网vernment should encourage more students to receive tertiary education in case the labor force is insufficient in the future. (我们的政府应当鼓励更多的学生接受大学教育，以防未来劳动力短缺）
第二个in c//www.58yuanyou.comase of 表示的是“如果/如果发生某事该如何应对”
注意咯：in case of 的意思和in case 非常相似，只是of是介词，所以后面要加n，或者doing
栗子：In case of emergency, call the police (如果出现意外，给警察打电话）
放到雅思写作级别的句子可以是：
Our government should encourage more students to receive tertiary education in case of the shortage of labor force in the future. (我们的政府应当鼓励更多的学生接受大学教育，以防未来劳动力短缺）
所以，总结起来就是in case 和 in case of 都是表示一种如果的情况

in case of+词组
那下面又来了一个词组， in the case of
in the case of 和in case以及in case of 完全不一样， 它表示的是“至于..., 在...情况下” 类似于写作中的as for，regarding 表示的是提及一件事情
栗子：In the case of diligent students，attending university is not difficult。对于勤奋的学生来说，读大学不是很难。
整体了解了这三个词，其实作文中很多的一些low 13小表达都可以进行替换
比如:
在写这个句子：政府应当对违反吸烟的行为进行罚款
如果你没学过in the case of
大家会写成
The authority should impose a fine to those who smoke in smoke-free areas
但是如果用in TLIvdIthe case of 就可以写成6.5+的水平
The authority should impose a fine in the case of smokers who break the non-smoking reguation.
更高端的7+表达方式：
The authority should impose a fine in the case of non-compliance with the non-smoking regulation.
所以学好case这个词，其实对于雅思考高分来说，还是very有帮助的
